In-office Ultrasound
Gynecologic ultrasound is useful in detecting masses, cysts, fibroids, endometriosis, adenomyosis and other pelvic diseases. Most ultrasound require a full bladder to better visualize the internal structures. Our machines are state-of-the-art with advanced resolution. For women desiring to conceive, an ultrasound can monitor follicular development and ovulation. In some cases, as special type of ultrasound, such as saline-infused or 3D ultrasound, may be used to diagnose causes of abnormal bleeding, polyps, fibroids, and to better evaluate the endometrial lining.
